Each December, Legacy Ballet hosts for our community a full-length production of

“THE NUTCRACKER”.

Congratulations to our 2022 Nutcracker Cast! Remember, rehearsals start this week, so make sure to review the rehearsal schedule below. Some cast members were cast in multiple roles, so please read the entire cast list!

Nutcracker Cast List 2022

SAVE THE DATES: December 2nd, 3rd and 4th for performances!

All local dancers ages 6 and up are invited to audition and participate in Legacy Ballet’s annual production of “The Nutcracker”.

Auditions will be held Saturday September 17^th, 2022 at Legacy Ballet, 104 Main St SE, Albany, OR 97321

Audition Times:

1:00pm – 2:00pm Ages 6-8 years old

2:00pm – 3:00pm Ages 9-11 years old

3:00pm – 4:00pm Ages 11 and older (off pointe)

4:00pm – 5:00pm Ages 11 and older (on pointe)

NUTCRACKER 2022 REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Please note attendance to rehearsals is vital to having a wonderful, smooth performance.  Please be aware only ONE rehearsal can be missed, besides Thanksgiving weekend.  If more than ONE rehearsal is missed, you could potentially lose your role in the Nutcracker.  We have limited rehearsals for each scene to prepare, so let’s make them count!  Reminder, if you are showing ANY signs of an illness, please contact us and attend rehearsal online through Zoom, do NOT attend rehearsal in person.

PARTY SCENE: Saturdays 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Last Saturday rehearsal Nov. 23^rd add the Nutcracker Doll, Mouse Doll and Ballerina Doll

FIGHT SCENE:  Saturdays 2:00pm – 2:45pm

Mice, Toy Soldiers, Mouse King, Nutcracker, Presents

BON BONS: Saturdays 2:45pm – 3:15pm

Bon Bons and Mother Ginger

LAND OF THE SWEETS SCENE: Saturdays 3:15pm – 4:00pm

Dainty Treats and Royal Candy Court

SNOW FOREST SCENE, WALTZ OF THE FLOWERS and VARIATIONS: Mondays and Tuesdays 8:00pm – 9:00pm (a more detailed schedule will be released with cast list)

Snow Queen(s), Snow Princesses, Snowflakes, Dewdrop, Flowers and Petoiles, Nutcracker Doll, Mouse Doll, Ballerina Doll, Chocolate, Coffee, Tea, Peppermint, Marzipan (Variations also needed at last Saturday Land of Sweets Reh. Nov. 19th)

TECH/DRESS REHEARSALS and PERFORMANCES:

All Tech/Dress Rehearsals are MANDATORY (this is a tentative schedule; a Tech/Show Week schedule will be handed out in October after Theater confirmation) Monday November 28^th- December 4th.
